My experience
My career has included working in the City of London for nearly a decade, where I was a Director at an international recruitment agency. This experience gave me valuable first-hand insight into the pressures of corporate life—long hours, high expectations, and the complex challenges of navigating identity, motherhood, and financial demands.
Later, I worked in the education sector and re-trained as a psychodynamic counsellor volunteering as a counsellor for a local charity.
I now run a private counselling practice where I support clients in improving their emotional wellbeing. I offer a calm, non-judgemental space to explore thoughts and feelings, build insight, and gain clarity. My approach is rooted in empathy, consistency, and a belief in each person's capacity for growth and self-understanding.

How to get started
Beginning counselling in Tunbridge Wells or online can feel like a big decision. Here’s what the first steps look like:
I offer a 50-minute online assessment session for £45. This is an opportunity to talk about what brings you to counselling, what you hope to gain, and to see whether my approach feels right for you. I will also explain how I work and answer any questions you may have.
If we decide to continue, we’ll agree on a regular session time. Counselling can take place online or in person in Tunbridge Wells. We’ll also discuss whether a short-term or open-ended approach would best suit your goals.
Once therapy begins, we’ll meet weekly for 50-minute sessions. Some people come for focused short-term work, while others prefer longer-term support. Together we’ll find a pace and approach that feels right for you.
Flexibility to Work with Me Online or In Person

If it’s easier for you, I offer counselling sessions online. Many adults and students find this a good option as it allows them to talk from home or another private space. Online sessions provide the same support as meeting in person, without the need to travel.
